History: Octavia Black, a woman in her early twenties, had a fling with a man. She was a fun-loving woman yet with a bright future before her. She fell pregnant soon after and the man that she loved was no longer by her side. She gave birth to a healthy child whom she named Ophelia Juliet Black on December 21. She hated her own daughter. Ophelia looked so much like the man that she lost. When Ophelia was four, that was when the abasement started. She went several days being starved. She was constantly being beaten. By the time she was nine, she had many scars on her arms and back.
School wasn't the best place for Ophelia either. She was always being teased for her slow comprehension of things. She began putting a lot of efforts into working on her studies. When she turned twelve, she had already received several academic awards. She still had to go through being abused and teased. Things got worse. One day while walking home from school, a monster began coming after her.
She felt that she must've gone crazy. Life must have finally taken its toll on her. She ran. Ophelia didn't care if it was real or not. She just wanted to get away. It continued to chase her. Ophelia knew she couldn't run as anymore. She thought that if it was a dream, she might be able to fight it. She turned around and faced it. Something seemed to guide her. Ophelia felt as if she could control the earth. She used her newly-found power towards the monster and the ground opened up and swallowed it.
Ophelia was surprised to find that she could do something like this. She wanted to find an answer. She ran away from home. She needed to find an answer for this. It soon found her instead. The answer came in the form of a satyr. Ophelia listened as he told her what she actually was. She was a demigod. He asked her if she would like to come to Camp Half-Blood where they would train her in combat and self-defense. She accepted. Ophelia thought going to another place was great. As long as she was away from home, she was happy. She entered Camp Half-Blood and found that she actually liked it there. The people there didn't make fun of her. They instead were similar to her. Ophelia spent two years there and then left to help out the new one, Camp Olympus.

I'VE BEEN SO DISILLUSIONED
There's no doubting that Ophelia is the daughter of Hades. From her appearance to her attitude, anyone can tell. She's like the night, embodying the air of mystery and darkness. She is a cautious person. There is no definition of risk in her book. There's no point in losing your life due to some silly mistake so she makes sure to play her cards right. Anti-social is probably the best way to describe her attitude towards people. Unlike others, she doesn't crave friends. She's perfectly fine on her own. She grew up without love and it could stay that way for all she cared. Her fatal flaw is probably her anger. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Cross her once and you'd better watch your back. Ophelia is a quiet girl so you'll never know when she'll strike. It doesn't help much that she is the daughter of Hades so her revenge will probably be a little more dangerous. Unfortunately, she gets the sweet feeling of satisfaction from revenge. Yet, she does have some good qualities. Ophelia is a compassionate person even though she rarely shows it. Beneath that icy exterior, she's just a person who needs some love.
