Nico had woken up that afternoon with a sense of terror. His dream lingered in his mind -a pleasant dream that involved fighting cupcakes and eating the spoils. So he knew it wasn't from his dream. As Nico dressed, he slowly came to realize that his prized silver skull ring was, in fact, missing. He usually had it in a pile with his drachma, on top of the one with Hades' face on it. And it definitely wasn't there. He checked the clothes he'd worn the day before and didn't find them.
He was halfway to the Main House when he realized where the ring might have gotten to. Brie was prone to take his things, and it would be no surprise of his if he found out the little thief had taken his ring. With a heavy sigh, Nico turned around, slinking into the shadows of the nearest tree. He stomped toward the cluster of camp cabins, an angry scowl marring his face as he stared straight ahead of him.
When the brunet reached the cluster of cabins, he immediately fell into the shadows, his eyes on the ground so as to avoid inviting anyone to talk to him. He walked slowly through the shadows, only stepping out of them when he was crossing to another shadow. Nico glanced up, locating Lord Hermes' cabin a dozen or so yards away. Without bothering to check his surroundings, Nico barreled out of the shadows, only to stumble back into them when he collided with a body.
Nico grunted as he steadied himself and fixed the person with a glare. "Was it necessary to get in my way?" he demanded harshly.
