DON'T YOU EVER, EVER FEEL
LIKE YOU'RE LESS THAN FUCKING PERFECT
LIKE YOU'RE LESS THAN FUCKING PERFECT
Zeke is a very bubbly, friendly person. Ze tends to not care about a thing and is always very open. Zeke has absolutely nothing to hide; zir secrets are all out in the open for everyone. This bubbly bab likes to talk a lot and doesn't generally care if people dislike zem or what people think about zem.
LIKES: fashion, cats, respectful people, dark colors, friends
DISLIKES: people who insist on calling zem 'Moira', shades of green, elves, winter, zir father
STRENGTHS: communication, persuasion, ignorance
WEAKNESSES: zir father, reading, knowing when to back off
FEARS: dying, dogs, marriage
POWERS:
Charmspeak: able to charm people into doing what ze wants; little control over it. (A lot of the time, ze sounds like an idiot trying to charmspeak.)
Shifting: Zeke can change the color of zir hair at will. One day ze might have blond hair and the next, ze could have long black hair. Ze can only change zir hair and has almost total control over this.
Speaks French: like all children of Aphrodite, Zeke can speak French fluently. Ze takes pride in this, in fact.

THE QUIET SCARES ME
'CAUSE IT SCREAMS THE TRUTH
'CAUSE IT SCREAMS THE TRUTH
GODLY PARENT: Aphrodite, Goddess of Love
BIRTH PARENT: Vadik Zakarius, 45, fashion designer
STEP-PARENT(S): N/A
SIBLINGS: Evgeni Zakarius, older brother, 19, son of Aphrodite
Moira Ezra Zakarius was born to Vadik Zakarius and Aphrodite (who, at the time, was going by Audrey Nazar) one late August afternoon in 1997. Shortly after Moira's birth, Audrey left them. Vadik never told his children what happened to Audrey, just that she had 'other things to do'.
Moira grew up in the shadow of Evgeni Zakarius, her father's pride and joy. Gen could do no wrong in Vadik's eyes. He was the perfect son and the perfect model. Vadik used Gen as the main model for all of this clothes for both men and women. Gen didn't mind, as he was a confident heterosexual by the age of 11. Moira loathed Gen because she was always yelled at by Vadik for doing something 'improper' or 'sloppily'. And Gen would offer no advice. He would only sit and enjoy her suffering.
At age nine, Moira knew she was different from the girls in her class when being called a "girl" or a "female" bothered her. When she told Evgeni this, he mocked her by asking if she wanted to be called "boy" and "male". Those didn't fit right either for the young girl.
At eleven, Moira knew that she wasn't 'she' or 'he'. Moira decided that she would rather be addressed by gender neutral pronouns like 'they' and 'ze'. Ze rejected being solely female and also rejected being solely male. Instead, ze decided ze wanted to be both and neither.
At eleven, Vadik and Evgeni mocked the child and called zem names, saying ze would never make it in the modelling industry with that attitude.
When Moira was thirteen, ze rebelled and changed zir name to Zeke, only acknowledging people when they addressed zem as Zeke. Vadik put his foot down then and grounded Zeke from doing anything until ze 'got out of that ridiculous phase and acted like a proper lady'. When ze didn't change, Vadik and Evgeni pressured Zeke into dating on of zir classmates who only referred to Zeke as "Moira, my girlfriend" or "Moira, the cutest girl ever". Zeke didn't let that dampen zir spirits and continued to live freely.
At fifteen, Zeke ran away from home. Ze was guided by a soft voice to a strange camp in Colorado and has been there ever since, loud and bold as ever and definitely not male or female.

MEGG, 8 YRS, YOU HECKA BET I DID
The Hills of Olympus were stunning. It was almost completely thanks to Dionysus and Demeter, but some assistance came from nature doing as nature does -growing. The landscaping was wild and stunning and mostly safe for the campers to relax in or play dangerous games in. During the day it seemed so friendly and open, but Hermes had seen it at night. The hills were threatening; spattered with clumps of forestry here and there made the hills intimidating if you didn't know where you were going.
Luckily for Hermes, he memorized the layout of the hills and the woods and, if for some reason he got lost, he could use and abuse his ability to fly. But at the moment, Hermes was content on foot. His goal was a particular clearing with a small pond and a small waterfall that both glittered when the moon was half. At night, when Hermes wasn't lost in his work (either camp work or work-work), and when Hermes really needed a break, he would eventually meander out to the clearing.
It didn't take him long to get there and it didn't take him long to settle beside the small pond. He sent his uncle Poseidon a brief prayer of thanks (hey, it couldn't hurt!) and absently ran his fingers across the softly rippling surface of the small pond. The stars reflected slightly off of the surface, rippling and shaking as the water did.
A slow smile spread across the blond god's face and he leaned his head back, looking up at the sky. He absently began trying to connect constellations that he knew, his mind easily falling blank as he did so. It was something Hermes knew by heart and didn't take him any effort to do it. The god relaxed as he sat under the stars in the comfort of dark, glad to be alone for once to just let his mind wander. (Of course, he couldn't let his mind go for too long for fear of it going places it shouldn't go, namely one Lord of the Underworld with cute facial hair.) Hermes sighed and splashed his face with water.
Don't be stupid, he told himself. You're setting yourself up for failure. The god huffed at himself and drew his knees to his chest in a remarkably childish way. Of course his thoughts would always end up there. Hermes gave a long, suffering sigh and he muttered curses in Ancient Greek under his breath.
