Hecate found herself once again on the Campus of the Half-blood camp, she knew better than to be there, she had children there who more than likely would be none too pleased at her being there. However she felt like paying a visit to a few water Nymphs she had not seen in almost a century. She had of course helped them with issues they had had over the years with mortal men, as well as adding her own wicked twists and helping to make mermaids.
As she had powers in Land, Sea and the Underworld she held powers that could do true harm to those she chose to turn her wrath on. However this was merely a visit to see how they were doing and maybe check on the mermaids. However, when she got there she was met with latent hostility, and after conjuring a few things and threatening to put a few trees there to dry up the lake it stopped.
Her red hair shown beautifully hanging in soft ringlets of fire down her back. She wore a simple backless dress and combat boots, it was an odd combination, but for the Goddess of Crossroads she felt it worked. She was in a deep philosophical conversation with one of the older Nymphs when she heard a twig break behind her, causing her to turn around to see who was there.

No matter how dark the night, it was nearly impossible to miss Lilly. She couldn’t even count the number of times that she had been asked if her bright red hair was fake- a concept Lilly hadn’t been able to understand until she finally asked her brother what it meant. Now that she knew, Lilly found the idea both insulting and hilarious, but she had to admit- she did look a bit out of place. Compared to her two dark haired siblings in Hades cabin, Lilly stuck out like a sore thumb, and as she made her way around camp that evening, she didn’t even try to be stealthy.
It wasn’t unusual for the tall demigod to wander around aimlessly after sunset, when the rest of the campers were asleep. Being a daughter of Hades, Lilly was drawn to the shadows, and she moved with ease in the pitch black of the trees. She was heading nowhere in particular, though she had a vague notion to walk by the lake. There was something peaceful about the lapping of the water against the shore, and while Lilly didn’t know how to swim, she enjoyed sticking her feet in the ice cold, wintery water. Often, as she sat by the lake, she would let her mind wander, particularly to what it would be like to be a daughter of Poseidon, or Hermes, or anyone other than Hades. Lilly had never met her godly parent, but she knew without a doubt that she was a true outcast, even among her family.
Sighing, Lilly forced her shoulders back. Insecurity wasn’t a good enough reason for bad posture, and as she breezed down the hill, her skirts swirled around her ankles. She walked through the final copse of trees, only to realize too late that she wasn’t alone- and for a moment, she just stared at the red haired woman sitting on the bank as if she were a reflection of Lilly’s own future.
No longer watching where she was going, she heard a twig snap beneath her foot as she came to a halt- causing the woman to turn and look at her.
“I-I’m sorry,” Lilly stuttered, her pale eyes wide. “I didn’t mean to interrupt.”
Hecate smiled as the girl came into view, it was almost like looking into a mirror of the past. Although to be true, Hecate had always had a dark way about her. This one, she exuded innocence; as if it seeped from her very pores, she could definitely work with that. Walking towards her she kept a smiled on her face but as she inhaled she sought to see who her immortal parent was; but knew unless she tasted her blood she would not know for sure.
"Come closer child, Hecate will not harm you. I promise, I never bite unless I am asked to." A pretty smile crossed her features but her mind was almost predatory. Oh, yes. I can most definitely work with this.

"Come closer child, Hecate will not harm you. I promise, I never bite unless I am asked to."
Well, that sounded promising- not. But who was Lilly to refuse a direct request from a god? Apprehensive, she took a few steps further, pausing just out of Hecate’s reach, and squared her shoulders despite her fear. Other than Hermes and a few of the other gods, Lilly had never received much godly attention- her own father had never even bothered to meet her, and she had no idea which goddess this was, but she knew without a doubt she wasn’t one to be messed with. Lilly almost envied that.
" Tell me, what is your name?”
“Lillian Scott.” She cleared her throat. “Everyone calls me Lilly.”
Hecate watched as the girl stopped.just outside of her reache and smiled softly, a throaty chuckle coming from the goddess as she stepped closer. I can most definitely work with this, all she needs is a shove in the right direction. She circled her slowly sniffing the air, trying to discover her God parent.
" Who is your god parent? It musn't be anyone toonpowerful, your powers arent that developed, but perhaps I could help you. I've been looking for a pet, someone to guide to nurture. I can help you control your powers, grow your strength. What do you say hmm? Under my patronage I can teach you many things, give you gifts. Even help you understand who you shoukd and should not trust. "
Hecate smiled softly. She wove a spell in her words, a slight tinkle added to the breeze to calm the girl, make her more trusting of Hecate .
